Loving CARE when you’re NOT there!
I would like to thank you in advance for considering Lisa’s for your Pet Care Needs. While your pet is under my care, their humans receive daily (or more) text messages, or emails, reports with pictures and sometimes videos of their daily activities.
Communication between the humans about their fur kids are very important to me. The safety and security of your home is also a top priority.
I fell in love with dogs and cats in my childhood, but specifically West Highland Terriers, later in life. I got Guinness, then like chips, (you can never have just one), I adopted Finnigan. I love their personalities and how they comfort their owners in tough times. Guinness, with his loving and caring nature was a perfect fit as a St Johns Therapy Dog and we spent many hours together meeting new friends and providing unconditional love to those who needed our care and compassion, until Guinness became of an age that he needed to retire.
Finnigan, our little rabble rouser, was not the personality type to sit calmly and listen, so his calling was the excitement of children and just plain good old-fashioned dog life. His exuberance and comical way IS his path and not to be trivialized. His love IS children and being loud (lol). Our YING & YANG.
I have been around dogs and cats my entire life, and always had a way of being with them that others maybe did not possess. A sense of understanding and tolerance that allowed me to learn and grow my passion. I have worked with some of the best dog walkers over the last few years on a volunteer basis, and honed my skill and temperament over the last 14 years through animal volunteer activities.
I worked in Engineering as a life long career and was desperately looking for an escape from a corporate existence and a two to four hour a day commute. Spending my time with your pet brings me joy and a sense of fulfilment. Being trusted with your pet is an honour, even when pets are having a bad day it’s still enjoyable to spend time with them and help them feel better.
Lisa ❤
